Juniors played a major role in many of the school clubs. Here they are with the foreign language group at the Spanish-Latin Club party. College Night The College Night program, an impor- tant event in the school year, brings representatives from various colleges across the state to discuss college plans with Beech Grove students. Here are two representatives, one from Cen- tral Business College (at the upper left) and the other from Indiana Cen- tral College. They are shown talking to prospective college students.

Junior Hi-Lites Getting class rings is a big moment in any junior ' s life. Bev Totty and Jim Hensley are shown casting admiring glances at theirs. An annual project of the junior class is the magazine sales campaign. Prizes were awarded to the top three sales- men, shown here assisting Miss Weaver with the bookkeeping. As top salesman, Karel Van Horn (left) received a $30 cash prize. As runners-up, Mary Blazek (right) won a transistor radio, and Don- na Patrick, a wrist watch.

Yearbook Staff The industrious yearbook staff consisted of all seniors who were chosen at the beginning of the year. Members were, first row; Linda Pflonzer, opening division editor; Bob Messer, sports division editor; Karen Dai ley, editor; Ron Tin ley, assistant editor; Richard Meier, individuals division editor; and Jim Johnson, activities division editor. Second Row: Mrs. Ru gen stein, sponsor; Mary Kay Galloway, Kathy Foley, Rusty Mitchell, Linda Moore, Mr. Fairchild, sponsor. Third Row: Jan Willen- berg, John Schaffer, Jim Smith, Bill Schoenbachler, Paul Haulter, Sue Allbright. Members who also ably assisted but were not available for this picture were: Peggy Zavodny, Mel Marie Haboush, Nancy Clark, Shirley Turner, Nancy Toney, Teresa Walker and Marvin Jones. The staff took many things into consideration when choosing the cover for their year- book. Here is Mr. Butherus of the Inter-Collegiate Press displaying sample covers to the staff. . ,- J
