SUPERINTENDENT’S MESSAGE Although the world seems full of turmoil and trouble, with enemies ham- mering away on the outside and greed and graft boring away from within, my message to you is one of hope and faith—hope that the worst is past and that a new day of peafce an d good will is near and fjaith that regardless of what may come we shall be able to meet it with the courage to stand for what is right. From my contacts with you and my observation of your actions toward one another. I have seen you display a sense of unity and service— two qualities so necessary and vital in the affairs of freedom-loving people every where. I feel that when you go forth to take your rightful places in the community, the nation, and the world, you will be citizens of whom the nation can be proud. To the Seniors who are graduating and to the others who will be return- ing for more study. I wish to extend congratulations for a job well done. May the lessons you have learned in the classroom, the ideas of fair play you have been taught in sports, and the inspriation you have received from the teachers and from one another go with you wherever you may be and guide you in your pathway down the future.
