Who could forget the trips to the tunnel, limestone, and the walks through Lawrence County in the tall? In most cases, when people are asked what were the best times of their life, they tend to look to the past to determine what were the Golden Years for them. Important people, places, and occurrences are remembered with a sense of longing to return to past times. However, it is just as important to realize that today is also a part of the Golden Years. Some of the most important events in the history of man have occurred during the life- span of today ' s high school students. A special characteristic of youth is their ability to see better times in the future. Working towards a more promising tomorrow, today ' s stu- dents are laying the foundation for the Golden Years of the future. I 16
