INTRODUCTION In this permanent record of the 1953-1954 school year, it is the aim of the Torch Staff to give you in both pictures and words the story of this past school year. We sincerely hope that the viewers of this yearbook will enjoy its contents and that this annual will bring back memories of the '53-'54 school days. The seniors have worked hard to raise the money for this annual in a great many ways. Without the combined effort of the class of 1954, the publication of this yearbook would not have been possible. We sincerely thank all those who helped in any way to make this yearbook possible. We hope you will enjoy it. Co-editors: Virginia Barks Don Dalton 3
