World events of significance during the year these students were high school freshmen include: The Big Three meeting held at Berrnudag Premier Mossedegh's trial was held in Iran, and the Trieste quarrel between Yugoslavia and Italy came to a head. To get their minds off their school work, two class parties were held. In the first semester, a. dance was held in the school gymnasium. During the second semester another party was scheduled. 32
