Members of the Class of 1955 elected as their freshman class officers, Howard Putnam, presidentg Randall Bowen, vice-president: Phil Bartlett, secretary, and Donovan Lucas, treasurer. For their leaders in their sophomore year they chose Suzanne DeMott, presidentg Bertha Wintermute, vice-presidentg and Shirley Sparks, secretary- treasurer. Back to school this year as juniors they elected Phil Bartlett, presidentg Suzanne DeMott, vice-president, Ann Lyons, secretaryg and Leah Mariotti, treasurer. ' During the first semester they put on a successful class play, January Thaw. The proceeds of this play went for the traditional junior-senior banquet which was held in the latter part of May. Other activities, which were planned for making money for this occasion were having concessions at ball games, bake sales, dances, and many others. So their school year would not be all work and no play, two class parties were planned, one during the first semester and one during the second semester. Z4
