Alyene Posten The purpose is to help gather new ideals and material which will help in teaching, The constitution was drawn up at the first of the year. Any girl taking the Normal Training Course was eligible for membership. There were fifteen members, twelve of whom were Senior girls. Toward the middle of the year pins were chosen. L65 w ' -sw --- -we DRAMATIC CLUB The Dramatic Club was organized at the beginning of the school year with Miss Alice Neff as sponsor. It has a membership of peppy kids, Picnics and yarties were -enjoyed throughout the fall. The meetings were held every Wednesday, in which plays were read and discussed. In the middle of the year a clever play was worked up which was praised by everyone who saw it. The Club was a pleasure as welll as an edu- cational advantage to its members. L55 w. '-.-.'.'. Ill FE THE LATIN CLUB Laeti Latini, The Happy Latins, was organized in 1927 under the leader- ship of Miss Long. The club was made up of anyone studying Latin who wish- ed to join. The purpose of the 'club was to ,stimulate an interest in the Latin language and customs, The meetings were held the first and third Thursday of each month, The programs consisted of discussion of Ancient and Modern Rome including the homes, children, dr-ess and customs. Also Latin games were played and Myth- ological references given. Ther-e were twenty m-embers in the cliub this year. The officers were: President ................................
