SEE SENIOR GIRLS' GLEE CLUB Tryouts we-re made early in the year for Girls' Glee Club. Meetings were held every Monday, and as a result of the girls' hard practice and Miss Burn- er's excellent coaching, they were victorious in the contest held in Bedford, not only winning in their own Glass but also over any other class in the con- test.

LGS 'n'i'M'u'- I THE GIRL RESERVE ORGANIZATION of the National Young Women Christian Association The Young Wcm-en's Christ-ian Association of Bedford High School was organized in 1922 under the direction of Miss Darnewood. In 1925 Miss Hol- loway 4Mrs. Dingesj became the sponsor. At the present time the organization consists of about 40 girls under the supervision of 'Miss Long, The girls who were sent to the Lake Okoboji Con- ference in the summer of 1927 were Gail Reynolds and Beulah Brand. They biought back many new ideas for our club. Reguilar meetings are held -every Tuesday at 4:00. Once every two months an open meeting is held for all the girls in High School. Regular Cabinet meet- ings are held. the second and fourth Tuesday of -each month. GIRL RESERVE CABINET: Advisor .................................. L55 'F 'Pi JUNIOR GIRLS' GLEE CLUB The members of the Junior Girls' Glee Club were selected, after tryouts. by .Miss Burner, from the Freshmen and Sophomore classes. This club was dis- solved and the fbest members joined the Senior Club before the contest, Their club met every Tuesday and they practiced the same songs as the Senior Glee Club.
