This is a national society founded to be equivalent in the High School to the Phi Beta Kappa in the University. Each yeay Hfteen percent of the senior class is chosen, five peicent chosin dfuring the last sfmester ot' their Junior year. The members are chosen by the faculty who base their choice upon the four fundamentals: Character, Scholarship, L821C'3lSillp and Service. This club is an incentive to the High School students to endeavor to live up to the four principles of the club. The present officers are: President, Martha Thomp- son, vice president, H4i1en Masteisg secxetary and t1 easu1e:, Alleen Gillette, spionsor, Miss Jafckson. A detailed study of the Bible was conducted by the four ministers of Bedford ichur-ches. Two parties, one at the first of the year and on-e in April, furnished entertainment for these boys..
