Several left the common herd to 'become athletic stars and to attain, prominence in other activities. Now these persistent trludigerts ihave reached their third year. SOPHOMORE CLASS HISTORY August 30, 1926, 73 Freshmen ,mounted the steps of Bedford High School to start their flight for the Land of Success. Miss Benson and Mi-ss Bagge were appointed to pilot fthe lctrew on the first lap of the jwourney. Elvin Trumbo was elected Captain of the crew, his helpers were Fuyne Pirckelrin.g and Joe Pi-eringefr. On May 20, 19l2l6, they landed one- fourth ofthe Way to the gloal for tri vacation of three months. Taking flight a-gain on Sewptembcr 5, we left several of our friends behind us and set out for the second quarter of our trip.
