Las THE CLASS PROPHECY EEE I, the Rajaih Akbar, dro agree this twentyethird day of May to disclose to the Seniors of '28 their various fortunes, lboth happy and sad, care-free and burdened. It is with great awe and reverence that I ,hereby proceed to ur veil the Crystal G'lo4be, in wihich llies 'the mystery of the .futures of my young friend.s. My globe is misty, but ah, it is clearing aiway and I see a t'iny bungalow with neatly trimmed lawn. In the spoLless kitchen is Ella Alle-n who has the reputation of being a. model housekeeper, I now see the Visage of Madame Bladow, whose fame as an opera singer has encircled the gilobe. Marguerite aft the present time is eating onions as she has been told that 'they will maake her voi-ce muclh stronger. But wihat is this large brick building? A Catholic hospital and between the rows of white beds walks a sad lfla-ceid nun, who is nion-e other than the one time gay and happy Eu'la Blake. She now spends her lhours tenderly sooth- ing the br-ows of the suffering. Before me comes the face of Beulah Brand, rflormer high school violinist, whio has spent her life searching for the lost dhord. Several times in her prac- tices she has 'thought that she had found' it, but after one brief moment 'it has allways been quickly whisked away. The scene changes and I hear beautiful music playing at a distance, and see soft colored lights and a great audience sitting ihushed and tense as the fairy-hike Beth appears on the stage. It is the opening n'ight of Pe-ter Pan and Beth I am glad to say has been hiailefd by Broadway as the 'biggest find of the year. A mist ha.s come before my globe. Ah, no, it is not mist but sand, With the pyramids for a' lbafckground I see the silken tenlts of the Arabs, and Marian Cobb, who has just become the third wife of Shiek Mascara is standing nearby, with her flaming tresses floating in the breeze. Ma.rian occupies the leading place in his harem, and is his favorite because the is 'tired of squeezing black- heads. Ah! I see tl:-e immense form of the Sphinx. No it is not the Sphinx, but onily M'nrgaret Doane, wlro is in Egypt searching for Bitble history. My crystal now shows a campus, none other than 'Lhat of the great Oxford University, Where I see Charles. Culbertslon who has 'become a Professor noted for his mental capacity. He is studying the 'life and habits o-f the silkwo-rm, which causes him to make frequent trips to France. In gay Paris I see Zellla Cunningham, who is creating a sensation with 'Jn'-
