Basketball . . . A Large part of the hfe of B.HS The Block B, symbol of Bedford Highls rising school spirit, was started at the first of the basketball season this year. Thanks go to the Student Council-to Paula Thomas, who played a major part in organizing the Block B, and to Mr. Coombs, the sponsor, for its big success. The gym holds dear memories of bitter defeats and striking victories between long-time rivals. 1 The big moment has arrived and the team goes into the huddle for last minute instructions and reassurance of winning an important game.
