Mildred Corju. infwrirzlmilwzik xfrri' A. W. Miller, attendance supervisor, is a handy man for school officials to have around when spring arrives. He's a handy man to have around, period, for he not only checks on delinquents but reports needy cases to the proper olhcials and many adults as well as students have profited by his kindly care. School nurse, Joyce Mcpike, examines sister Maryann's throat to see if all is well. Miss McPike helps Dr. Wynne with his checkings, examines the eyes and ears of all grade children, and helps plan the spring roundup. The school board must function with great care since their actions affect everyone in the community. His job is one that carries much responsibility and he undoubtedly appreciates all the cooperation and help given him by students, faculty and com- munity. H. A.
