Yount came to Bedford as Superintendent of City Schools from Greencastle, indiana, where he was Filling the position of Superintendent. He was graduated from Franklin College in 1912. and now holds the .-X. H. degree front Indiana University. Mr. Yount is filling very capahly the position vacated by Mr. Ahbett in both social and school life. His diplomatic dealings in all matters have made him the friend of everybody. His tact, his humor, and his sympathy joined with disarming simplicity and frankness of manner give him in- estimalvle influence among the students. W. J. YOUNT lVlt'. H. H. Nlourer came into our midst in l93l as principal, succeed- ing R. B. Julian, now Superintendent of Schools at Valparaiso, indiana. He was graduated from Indiana University and now holds the A. B. and A. M. degrees. Since coming to Bedford Mr. Mourer has made friends of all the student hody and has won the loyalty of the faculty hy his untiring effort to make Bedford High the 'fltw school of the state. The city of Bedford has no truer friend. His leadership of the sponsors has guided them through many y trying battles and has won many an erring student from the path of destruc- W l tion to one of future happiness. H. H.
