The winning couple was Les Wil- liams and Terry Nowdon. “When we danced at parties, people would tell us we were good,” remarked Les. “So we decided to enter. His partner Terry recalled. We practiced for about 1 Vi or two hours the night before the contest. One couple that exper- ienced problems was Sopho- more Keith Goad and Senior Linda Soukup. “Linda came to my house the night before to rehearse, but we had prob- lems at the contest. remem- bered Keith.
