October 4, Bedford played host to Meyersdale, the only day game of the season at home, and were licked 13-0. At this point Coach Hubic- sak's boys perked up and played the kind of football fans dream about. They journeyed to Roaring Spring and Won a sparkling 6-0 battle. Midseason, and the splendid fighting spirit of the team became ap- parent They surprised a very strong Hollidaysburg club by holding them to a 7-0 score, Saturday, October 25, loyal fans traveled to Bell- wood in freezing Weather to see Bedford lose 18-0. But on October 30, the stampeding Bisons trampled their traditional rivals, Saxton, 18-6! Team and students celebrated next day with a snake dance through the streets and no school!
