We sincerely hope that this record of our life at Bedford High in 1942 will indeed be an Echo of the year's momentous events. As the golden days of autumn hastened toward the frosty blasts of winter, fiery disaster stalked relentlessly through the familiar portals. Adjustment, without loss of a single day, continued through winter's ice and the showers of spring. With the first sultry rays of the summer sun came graduation, and another year in our lives becomes a memory.
