Superintendent's Message Dear Students: On the pages of this book you find an account of the school-year 1953-54. Whether the school-year has been a success or not or whether this book is everything you would have it to be, you must remember that as students of this school, you are a part of its successes or failures. So it is with life. If we would better our own condition, we must expend our best efforts. We appreciate those things most that we have to work the hardest to get. Principals Message i Dear Students: Recorded on the pages of this BECK VILLIAN are sketches of another year of progress for the Beckville schools. The BECKVILLIAN staff and its sponsor are to be commended for the time and effort that they have expended in present- ing to you this yearbook depicting these memorable experiences. For some, this year marks the end of an era in your life. To you who are graduating, our sincere hope is that you will apply yourselves earnestly and diligently to the tasks that are before you. May you ever strive to uphold those ideals of democracy that have made this nation great.
