Having lost some of our hard feelings for the Senior Class of I 0 the year before, we considered it our turn now. During this year additional courses were pursued by our classmates WE' fx In Accountancy, Cost Accounting, Industrial Management, Teacher lllj FL' Training, Business Administration, Secretarial Science, and Engi- ll QW? Qxx neering. Sf , ' .5 We cordially welcomed the new students at the beginning of the l I '-f year with an Acquaintance Dance, and we faithfully administered il Freshman customs to them. In October we held a big I-lallowe'en H Thi QV Dance. And did we have a good time? Well, you can receive the ' answer from any member of the student body because EVERYONE Uvi ' 0 was there. Then there was the Roller-Skating Party and the Valentine i QSM X5. Dance. And we can't forget the Tug-o'-War, but who won? The if Seniors pulled the Freshmen through the water but it was claimed l Q that there was a little extra weight on our end of the rope. Well, li l those are the most important details, so judge for yourself-who won? gl in-I Our originality was again brought out this year by our organizing A GY ' S I, 'Nb a Flower Fund from which money could be drawn to buy flowers for I 'I ll: any member of the student body who might become ill. In the spring , 0 Q I our activities were suspended for the month of April, due to the I 'Tl sudden and very unexpected death of our beloved President, Charles iixh 0 R. Beckley. . . . . - 5 KJ In May, social activities were resumed and numerous functions were All A .NC held. Our biggest event, namely the Senior Ball, was held on the first 1 FQ. L3 of.May. This was indeed a gala affair, but as we danced it came to our I YC 1, minds that this would be our last Senior social function, and that i 0 If soon we would end our Beckley College days.
