S Director of Education, Professor Eby is an important factor in Beckley College. He deals mostly in figures, for he is at the head of the Accountancy Depart- ment, but his congenial personality has won him many friends among the student body. He has a great deal of wit and humor which is not readily motivated but it is always creeping out at the most unexpected times. The students need never hesitate to ask Professor Eby to assist them for he is always ready and willing to be of service. U A.J. EBY ci-IARLES s. SMITH HE Dean of Men is known to every one. He lives in a little town over the hills by the name of Dillsburg. There is not a proposition in Business Adminis- tration but that the Dean can give a concrete example from his home town. The Dean is very active in all sports and activities. He is a humorist and he takes great delight in studying the different types of students.

MRS. CHARLES R. BECKLEY EFORE becoming associated with Beck- ley College, Dr. Downes acted as RS. CHARLES R. BECKLEY is our Dean of Women. She has a friendly and charming personality which is felt and appreciated by everyone. Indeed, every girl should learn to know Mrs. Beckley personally for her motherly regard makes her acquain- tance very dear. She is a very able woman and takes an active part in the administration of the school. Principal and Headmaster of Dickinson College Preparatory School and also as Superintendent of the Public Schools of Harrisburg. At present he is serving in the capacity of our Superintendent. S DIRECTOR of the Placement Bureau, Mrs. Boone holds a position of much responsibility. It is her duty to direct the securing of positions for the students. In doing this, she must determine which student needs work the most and which student Hts the particular position she has in mind. Mrs. Boone handles it all very well. She is not only known to the entire student body but to Harrisburg and the vicinity as well. Mrs. Boone is a friend to all of us. BESSIE S. BOONE HE Preceptress of the Girls' Dormi- tories, she is a mother to every girl and to some boys in Beckley College. Mrs. Coover possesses that personality which makes everyone accept the motherly advice which she offers. It has won for her the title Mother Coover.
