Class dues were levied at twenty cents a month. September ll, 1960--Second class meeting was held, and class colors, roy blue and white, were picked. September 13, 1960--Another meeting was held, at which we decided to order class hats, jackets, and emblems for all members ofthe class who wanted them. September l5, 1960--We sponsored our first skating party, which proved quite successful. Many students attended and three buses were taken. October 9, and 23, 1960--We sponsored two more skating parties which all proved successful. This con- cludes our fund raising projects. May 19, 1961--Our class spent the day touring the State Capitol at Harrisburg, the Gettysburg battlefield, and the lflershey Candy factory. The climax of the day was Hershey Amusement Park. Having enjoyed the trip very much, we came home very tired. June 6, 1961--Last day of school. Everyone is anxious to start vacation. September 5, 1961--Our first day in Senior High. Everybody seems a little lost, but we'll get used to it in time. September 7, 1961--We held our first class meeting. The following officers were chosen. President, Larry Bloomg Vice-President, Bill Opdenhoffg Secretary, Kathy O'shal1, and Treasurer, Ed Zupich. Bob Shomo, Ronnie Bollinger, Sue Fegan, and Marcia Belin were chosen to represent us on the student council. October 27, 1961--We sponsored a Halloween Dance tonight. It was successful, and a good profit was made. April 26, 1962--We held a skating party tonight. A good time was enjoyed by all. March 12, 1962--We had our first bakesale today.
