October 7, 1958--Philipsburg's Skateland was the scene of the wonderful and profitable skating party we held tonight . October 16, 1958--Our calories and cash were both increased today after our successful bakesale . November 14, 1958--We're off to Skate1and again. A good time was enjoyed at all. November 29, 1958--Mint green and black were all you could see today as we received our class hats and emblems . May 28, 1959--Our big day! We visited Gettysbur, Harrisburg, and Hershey. We will all remember this day. Who could forget it? May 5, 1959--This is both a happy and a sad day for us . We hate to say good-by to our old familiar ways of junior high, but we are looking forward to our three years at senior high. Sophomore Year September 5, 1959--You go first,no, you can go. There certainly was no race to the door. We were all kind of nervous that day. September 21, 1959--Everyone cast your ballots . This was election day. Officers chosen were as follows: President, Roy Dunlapg Vice-President, john Ninoskyg Secretary, Nancy Sinclair, Treasurer, Ray Spangle. Student Cotuicil representatives are: jackie Gunia, Judy Campbell, Don Shaffer, and Bill Welker. Our class advisors are to be Mrs . Gorman, Mr. Bearer, and Mrs. Philips. October 10, 1959--Cakes! Cookies! Cupcakes! We sold everything at our bakesale and added more money to our treasury. November 21, 1959--Turkey and cranberry sauce? No, we sold pop and chips at our Thanksgiving Dance. Even so, we netted a neat profit. Dancing does work up an appetite january 8, 1960--Elvis Presley's birthday? Yes, that's right, but it's also the date of our Mid-winter Dance. june 5, 1960--We held a Good-by Dance for the seniors tonight to wish them the best of luck in the future. This was, of course, the last day of school. junior Year September 5, 1960--We proudly accepted our role as juniors today. We are determined to do our best to make this year profitable. September 8, 1960--lt's so warm in here with our new class rings on. That's one way to get everyone to notice them. They came in today and we are very proud of them. 23
