Cooks Cater to Connoisseurs The way to a student's heart is through his stomachw- was the philosophy ot Mrs. lose- phine Weaver and Mrs. Emma Baker, cooks who concocted delicacies to suit hungry appetites. Chili, hot dogs, potato salad, and stew were some of the favorite dishes ofthe year. Donna Scott, Mary Scheel, Harriett Fisher, Iva Sue Palmer, Ken lackson, Bruce Steele, Sharon Wilson, Robert Rowe, Larry Weirich, and Ann Nielsen helped with cafeteria duties. Modern up-to-date equipment such as an elec- tric dishwasher, potato peeler, and an electric mixer made work easier and quicker for the cooks. The cafeteria also served as a banquet room for the Y-Teens, PTA., T.Y.V. Press Club, and many other social affairs. Mrs. Iosephine Weaver and Mrs. Emma Baker, cooks. prepare baking powder biscuits to put into the oven. Caieteria workers Donna Scott. Mary Scheel, Harriett Fisher, Iva Sue Palmer, Ken Iackson, Bruce Steele, Sharon Wilson, Robert Rowe, Larrv Weirich, and Ann Nielsen prepare for the onslaught oi hundreds oi hungry appetites.

Preparing lor their daily journeys in giant ten-ton school busses are drivers Ioseph Wendling. Iames Schurman. Leonard Kutz. Walter Fain, Louie Beovich, William West. R. I. Barr, Iay Couch, Alva Norris, Frende Flitcrait. and David Haack. Custodians, Drivers Busy Nursing their delicate patient, the school, to good health, as reflected in shining corridors and smooth-riding louses, were six hardworking custodians and eleven bus drivers. Mr. and Mrs. Iohn Day. head custodians, and Gene Beighley, Frank Zirnlorick, Robert Baxter, and Merle Howell perotrrned many backstage duties such as floor-washing, win- dow-polishing, desk-varnishing, and launder- ing. Bus drivers loseph Wendling, Iames Schur- rnan, Leonard Kutz, Walter Pain, Louie Beo- vich, William West, R. I. Barr, lay Couch, Alva Norris, Frende Flitcrait, and David l-laack exe pertly manned the tleet ot 12 buses throughout the school year. Relaxing 'round the new iuke box and sipping cups oi hot coffee are custodians Robert Baxter. Merle Howell, Gene Beighley, Frank Zimbrick, Mrs. Luella Day. and Iohn Day.
