Taking a short break from their tight schedules are Mrs. Evelyn McGill and Mrs. Letha Turner. secretary and clerk, respectively. Board Makes Decisions Unseen and unheard by most students, the school board makes important behind-the- scene decisions at each monthly meeting. Headed by William D. Cameron for the past seven years, the board has, among other things, established and financed the long-term building plan now in effect. I. R. Metzler and Karl Kahle serve as adminis- tration delegates, and Mrs. Letha Turner is clerk. Other members are Roy N. Bowman, Harris Hansen, Arthur Pearson, William Saunders.

l' i gf Jax ic' ! Readers' Whims Satisfied Here Gathering pennies tor overdue books and arranging attractive bulletin boards were two duties ot thirteen student librarians and Miss Beverly Crton. Heading the list ot library duties are checking books in and out, mending books, and in gen- eral, catering to the whims of students. The library staff was composed of Ted Mc- Bride, Bill Miller, Arlene Rogers, Dick Rickson, Kathy O'Connor, lim Springer, Diane Schendel, lanet Wootten, Lee Zurnwalt, lerry Alexander, Bob Sheldon, Mike McCoy, and Francis Put- nam. Never too busy to smile is head-librarian Miss Beverly Orton. A familiar sight - Lee Zumwalt stamping due dates. Diane Schen- del tiling. and Bob Sheldon thumbing through cards. Student librarians brushing up on studying are Dick Rickson. Ian Wootten. Ted McBride. Kathy O'Connor. lim Springer, Bill Miller. Marilyn Thomson. and Arlene Rogers.
