During their tour years ot high school the Class ot '52 really did themselves proud by earning distinc- tion in just about every field. Several accentuated the beauty aspect, lo Allene Krueger placed second in the Portland Miss YWCA contest Dreenali Zwahlen was elected BHS Spring Reign Queen, her attending senior princesses were Sally Lindsay, lo Allene Kruger, Vanda Benson, Nancy Stutharcl, Sylvia Wilson, Mary lo Cornell, and Vanda Benson. Musical talent was proved when Pat Madden and Gale Enger were elected student body pianists in their freshman year. The class displayed much athletic prowess, By earn- ing a sports letter, these boys ol the Class ot '52 be- came members ot the Winged B: Ed Ramsdell, Louie La Check, Dick Bowman, Mel Marsh, Dick Gervais, Mel Mori, lohn Shatter, Irving Gregerson, Dick Classen, Dean Aulerich, Maynard Sprecher, Ron Mercer, Sam Simich, Bud Redick, Al Taylor, Glen Gordon, Gene Nordling, and lim St. Clair. Anno Domini 1952 was the seniors' last year at B-Hi -they were led by Presidents Garth Cloninger and Glen Gordong vice-presidents were Dean Aulerich and Ron Mercer. Minutes were taken by Secretaries Bev Throckmorton and Shirley Nall. Treasury duties were handled by Paul Buflam and Mike Nyssen, The journal- istic angle was taken care ol by Reporters Don Fibiger and Tom Goldsmith. Song leaders were Marlene Ander- son and Sylvia Wilsong yell leaders were Shirley Nall, Dick Classen, Shirlee Syverson, and Maynard Sprecher,
