THE WAY TO A STUDENTS HEART Long lines, good food, and friendly cooks typify BHS's ultra-modern cafeteria, one of the finest in Oregon. It is equipped with the latest new appliances, including a dish- washer that washes 6250 dishes an hour. Mrs. Iosephine Weaver, who is in charge, and Mrs. Emma Baker, her assistant, pro! duce and serve food for l6U to 200 students a day. Student helpers were Al Taylor, Mel Mori, Leota Cogswell, Anna Savage, Wayne Kolstad, Diane Smith, Martha Evans, and Stanley Wilson. The favorite food of the students was, in '51-'52, as always, hot dogs, ice cream, and desserts made in home economics classes. The few items never seen on the trays were olives, and salt and pepper shakers. Besides being used as a daily lunch room, the cafeteria contributed its facilities to or- ganizations such as churches, Iunior Cham- ber of Commerce, Safeway stores, Boy Scout meetings, TYV Press Club meetings, Y- Teens, Senior breakfasts, football banquets, after-game dances, and band practices. Mrs. Emma Baker Mrs. Iosephine Weaver Standing ready to milk The Cow during lunch period are: Alan Taylor, Stanley Wilson, Mel Mori, student cafe- teria workers. Preparini for the chow line are Wayne Kolstad, Letoa Cogswell, eathean Pickner, Sharon Wilson and Martha Evans, cafeteria aids,
