Two soph debate teams competed at the Linfield College debate tournament. Several members of the class gained recognition in sports, including: Gene Biggi, Art Moshofsky, Dale Gray, jack Harris, andjohn McKnight. Guiding the group were Mrs. Beth Metzler, Miss Eleanor Zurcher, and Miss Amarette Barnes. Shining examples of industrious Beavers, the sophomores have contributed generously to many school activities, walking off with the service flag for the Red Cross Drive.
