OFFICERS: Kerry Koenig, Linda Sanders, Micki Stewart, Kelly Barrett, Mr. Ankeny; FRESHMEN: Sherry Cornish Christy Long, Skip Jordan, LaVon Jones; SOPHOMORES: Charlotte LaMotte, Susan Davis, Cordell Briggs, Gary Markovich; JUNIORS: Mary Barrett, Charles Lansing, Sherry Sanders, Glen Owen; SENIORS: Pete Burwell Joan Wilhelm, and Allen Martinell. STUDENT COUNCIL Served School Efficiently Student Council, the governing organization of Beaverhead County High School, was a busy group the past year. In the fall Student Council sponsored one of the school's most successful Homecomings. Prior to Christmas vacation, the Student Council organized a gala Christmas assembly in which each class presented a humorous number. Hush Day, which was established one year ago, proved to be fun for all and was highlighted with the crowning of Bob Hazeltine as Mr. Irristible” at the Hush Day Dance. Also, the Council presented the school with a stuffed Beaver which will be placed in the trophy case of the new Physical Education, Science and Music Building. During the spring, Eighth Grade Orientation Day was sponsored by the governing group, as was the election of new Student Council officers. 1967-68 Student Council Officers Kerry Koenig, president; Linda Sanders, treasurer; Kelly Barrett, vice president, Micki Stewart, secretary; and Mr. Ankeny, adviser.

Row Is Mr. Wilkerson, adviser; Dave Cypher, John Cornish, Kerry Koenig, Phil Hawkins, Bob Hazeltine, and Glen Owen; Row 2: Steve Banning, Tim Swartz, DeVon Childs, Pat Church, Dan Sutton, Cordell Briggs, Bradley Briggs, Tom Peterson; Row 3: Richard LaMotte, Dale Grose, Gary Love, John Chaffin, Craig Rule, and Joe Linduska. KEY CLUB Volunteered Services The Key Club, an organization which is dedicated to the betterment of the school and community, sponsored many projects during the year. Affiliated with Kiwanis Inter- national, the group assisted in the Kiwanis and Key Club Apple Sale. They collected books for the AAUW Book Sale and lent a helping hand with the Vigilante Electric Dinner. Other projects which kept them busy were the tree planting at the cemetery, laying tile in the Rec Center, holding a car wash, raking lawns, helping at the B Hive, and aiding at the State Ski Meet at Rainy Mountain. Dillon Key Club delegates attending the District Convention at Great Falls were Kerry Koenig, Bob Hazeltine, Phil Hawkins, Dale Grose, Dan DeLeon, and Glen Owen. Cordell Briggs was selected as the delegate to the Key Club International at Montreal. The 1967-1968 officers were Kerry Koenig, president, Phil Hawkins, vice president; and Bob Hazeltine, secretary-treasurer. Mr. John Wilkerson was the adviser.
