MRS. RUTH WENGER Custodians Our two industrious janitors, Jules and Don, can be seen daily in the halls sweep- ing, dusting, and polishing. They have kept our school looking spotless at all times. Bus Drivers Since Beaverhead County High School has many students living in rural areas, a number of qualified bus drivers are needed to provide transportation to school each day. They also took students to out- of-town sports events and other activities. Secretary Mrs. Ruth Wenger, our faithful and patient secretary of Beaverhead County High School, always has a cheerful smile for the students. She performs her many duties each day with effici- ency and capability. DON SMITH AND JULES WENGER Emerson Selway, Don Rude, Donald Smith, Ken Walt, Richard Wenger, Bob Sawyer, Jim Given, Jerry Stone, and John Wilkerson.

ADMINISTRATION Directs Policies SENIORS OF 1967: If luck deals you a good hand, play it for all it is worth; if not, play the hand you get as well as you can. Work and persistence are important to success, but there is, nevertheless, the element of chance. There will be times when you may be dis- couraged because somebody else seems to be getting along better. If you have spent your time at work and with honest effort, you must remember that possibly it is by chance that someone else seems to be more successful. Or, if life gives you unusual- ly good opportunities, this does not give you an excuse for resting on your oars. It means that much more is expected of you than of someone else. You must give more back to the world in return. I trust this advice will be as valuable as the advice given by a lawyer to his client who called from the state penitentiary and complained, They’ve shaved my head, cut slits in my trouser legs, and rolled up my sleeves. Now what should I do?” My advice to you, the lawyer answered, is don’t sit down.” BEST WISHES,
