Senior Class Story On Friday, September 7, 1962, one hundred twenty-eight students entered the doors of Beaverhead County High School. The class officers chosen were John Warren, president; Ron Selway, vice president; AnnaBelle Hansen, secretary; and Frances Ann Mooney, treasurer. The Student Council representatives were Jim Band, Don Campbell, Teresa Curtis and Kathy Kennedy; Red Cross delegates were Don Camp- bell and Raelene Lynch. Jennie Harrison was the Harvest Ball Queen candidate. Mrs. Lenore McCollum was the class sponsor. Under the direction of Mr. Menti, the class of ’66 as sophomores elected Ron Selway, president; Tom Pierce, vice president; Jennie Harrison, secretary; and Tom Graham, treasurer. Student Council members selected were Clara Jones and Arlene Winn; Ron Harrison and Sharon Sinclair were the Red Cross representatives. Queen candidates were Sandi Smith, Harvest Ball Queen, and Diane Duncan, Homecoming Queen. Don Campbell, president; Dan Sanders, vice president; Sandi Smith, secretary; and Frances Ann Mooney, treasurer, led the class as juniors. Marcene Briggs and Steve McDonald were Red Cross representatives; and Student Council members chosen were Brent McCandless, Frank Berta, Teresa Curtis, and Arlene Winn. Connie Burwell was the Homecoming Queen candidate;and Frances Ann Mooney was the Harvest Ball candidate. Pat Shannon and Don Campbell served as Prom Chairmen to carry out the theme Carousel. Mr. Wolf and Mr. Hull were the class sponsors. One hundred and nine seniors bade farewell to BCHS on May 23, 1966. The officers of the senior class were Frank Berta, president, Rod Merkel, vice president; Ken Glaus, secretary, and Lyn Ballard, treasurer. The Student Council representatives chosen to represent the seniors were Don Campbell, Frances Ann Mooney, Dewey Ruegsegger, and Arlene Winn; Red Cross representatives were Rich Williams and AnnaBelle Hansen. The senior candidate Joan Huxtable was crowned Harvest Ball Queen, and Susan Lively was the Homecoming Queen Candidate. The sponsors of the Senior Class were Mrs. Henning - sen and Mr. Jules Wenger. 29
