PRINCIPAL B. W. LODGE Administration TO THE CLASS OF 66: The survival and progress of our country rests on the shoulders of each new generation of young people, such as yourselves. It does not rest on those of us who spend most of our time safeguard- ing what we have, nor does it rest on the backs of fearful men. It rests on those of you who have hope coupled with talent, faith married to farsightedness, and sincerity linked with skill. When our nation selects its future course, it is not sufficient to have the counsel of people who sit on committees; it must also hear the choice of individuals who decide on their careers, who select the ventures they wish to follow, and who take the risks they consider worthwhile -- all the time striving to fulfill their own aspirations. 9 GOOD LUCK !

School Board The School Board of Beaverhead County High School volunteers its time and effort to see that the high school is efficiently operated and that the students have all advantages possible to gain knowledge. Each member has given of his time and thinking to see that our high school continued its progress and remained abreast of the changes in education. We, the students of Beaverhead County High School, owe much to these unselfish citizens who have worked hard to provide for us the best possible educational system. 8

Secretary Mrs. Wenger, the efficient and cheerful secretary of Beaverhead County High School, met all the demands placed upon her by the faculty and students with capa- bility and much patience. Mrs. Ruth Wenger Custodians The most efficient cleanup duo -- Jules Wenger and Don Smith -- were endlessly sweeping and polishing the halls of BCHS. Although disorder sometimes prevailed at the end of the school day, the students returned each morning to a bright and shining high school building. Bus Drivers Jules Wenger and Don Smith The responsible corps of bus drivers transported rural students to and from school each day, along with the extra duty of taking BCHS students to many of the out-of-town sports events and other activities.
