Emerson Selway, bus maintenance man and foreman at BCHS, gave much time and energy to see that the buses were kept in good condition and that students had a driver to all activities. He also did much of the driving for athletic trips, most long-suffering personnel at the high school. In addition to transporting students to and from school each day, which often re- quired getting up at a very early hour, they also took students to many out-of-town sports events and other activities. Each had to be qualified and each had a great responsibility. Hats off to the BCHS bus drivers! ! ! LEFT TO RIGHT: Jim Given, Bob Sawyer, Dale Combs, Pat Bur- well, Martin Malesich, Leonard Benjamin, Bill McNeill, and Bob Sullivan (substitute for Michael Gerdes). Bus Drivers The bus drivers of Beaverhead County High School were perhaps the Mrs. Ruth Wenger Secretary Mrs. Wenger, the faithful, patient secretary of Beaverhead County High School, met each day's duties with efficiency and capability. ALthough the secretarial duties kept her busy a great deal of the time, she always found time to deal with students' needs- varying from telephone calls to helping with homework—pleasantly and with a smile. The annual staff wishes to express its special thanks to Mrs. Wenger for her help in supplying informantion and identifying pictures. Jules Wenger and Don Smith Custodians The best cleanup men in the state -- Jules Wenger and Don Smith -- were always seen in the halls sweeping, dusting, and polishing. Although students left the school in disorder each day, they came back each morning to find every- thing in order and clean. Because they en- abled students to work in a clean-well lighted atmosphere, the janitors rendered to Beaverhead County High School an in- valuable service. Jules and Don—our thanks to you.
