On September 3, 1957, eighty-six freshmen entered BCHS. Officers were: President, Bill Hugulet; Vice-President, Gene Rebich; Secretary-Treasurer, Kenna Thomas; and Yell Leader, Evelyn Withington. Judy Forsythe was Harvest Queen Candidate. Members of Jr. Red Cross were Dale Luchetti, Ann Evans, and Sue Sparrow. Student Council members were Kenna Thomas and Chad Holland. Sponsors were Mr. Kaiser, Mr. MacDonald, and Mrs. McCollum. All of the freshman class officers were re-elected their sophomore year. Kenna Thomas was sophomore candidate for Harvest Queen. On the Jr. Red Cross Council were Barbara Hagedorn and Ingrid Cragholm. Connie Arrigoni, Sally Jo Chaffin, and Melvin Rose were Student Council representatives. Bill Banning, Barbara Hagedorn, and Gay Townsend were selected for National Honor Society. Sponsors were Mr. Scott and Mr. Michalson. Junior class officers were: President, Martin Malesich; Vice President, Ronald Benson; Secretary, Jerelyn Critch- field; Treasurer, Melvin Heggelund; and Yell Leader, Melvin Rose. Amber Lapham was Homecoming Queen candi- date, and Beth McDonald was Harvest Ball Queen candidate. Student Council representatives were Barbara Hage- dorn, Bill Banning, Amber Lapham, and James Reynolds. Elected to Honor Society were Paul Bramsman and Jack McMurchy. The theme of the Junior Prom was Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White. Class sponsor was Mr. Mular. The officers who guided us through our senior year were President, Marvin Malesich; Vice-President, Gene Rebich; Secretary, Beth McDonald; Treasurer, Amber Lapham; Yell Leader, James Reynolds. Student Council representa- tives were Jean Huntsman, Ingrid Cragholm, Bill Banning, and Carol Dyer. Elected to Honor Society were Colin Chriswell, Don Bacon, Ellen Bacon, and Cathy Mellott. Ingrid Cragholm was elected to reign over the Home- coming festivities. The senior class candidate for Harvest Queen was Jean Huntsman. Kenna Thomas was crowned Prom Queen, and her attendants were Barbara Hagedorn and Beverly Taylor. Senior activities included Senior Sneak Day, Government Day, and a Senior Breakfast, followed by an all-night dance after graduation. Selling Beaver sweat shirts was a senior money-making project. On May 22, with mixed emotions, the seniors started the walk down that long aisle and across the stage, to say good-bye to four of the most wonderful years of our lives. Mr. Kato and Mr. Wilson were the sponsors who guided us through that memorable year. 23
