Bill Thiel Dick Willey Bill Williss Angela Wolfe On September 6, 1955, seventy-nine freshmen entered Beaverhead County High School. They were initiated by a march across the stage, and a parade downtown. Officers of the class were Bill Garrison, President; Delores Perusich, Vice President; Jo Ann Gransbery, Secretary; Jo Ann Arvish, Treasurer; and Donna Lessey, Yell Leader. Bill Williss was elected to the Student Council, and Gosta Miller represented the class on the Beaver Lodge Committee. Our Harvest Ball Queen candidate was Nancy Backus. Mrs. McCollum and Mr. George Scott were the sponsors. The Freshman initiation began the social activities of our sophomore year. Class officers were Bill Garrison, President; Gosta Miller, Vice President; Tym Stocks, Secre- tary; Nancy Backus, Treasurer; and Tex Marchessault, Yell Leader. Bill Garrison, Jane Duncan, Anne Jones, and Bill Williss were elected to the Student Council. Red Cross representatives were Judy Taylor and Mel Worthington. The sophomore class also elected their candidate, Tym Stocks, as Harvest Ball Queen. Emery Smith, Dave Ferris, Sandra Peterson, and Delores Perusich were initiated into Honor Society. The class sponsors were Miss Hawkes and Mr. Michalson. Junior Class officers were; Dave Ferris, President; Dallas Jones, Vice President; Marty Miller, Secretary; Tex Marchessault, Treasurer; and JoAnn Gransbery, Yell Leader. The Student Coun- cil representatives were Jane Duncan, Delores Perusich, Dallas Jones, and Bill Garrison. Junior Red Cross representatives were Delores Perusich, Judy Taylor, Joanne Nettick, and Janice Maryott. Initiated into Honor Society were Jane Duncan, Dallas Jones, and Bill Williss. Class sponsors were Mr. Kato, Miss Moran, and Miss Arbuckle. The theme for the Junior Prom was Sidewalks in Paris . The junior class mothers sponsored a smorgasbord at the Elk's Hall fol- lowing the Prom. 28
