Junior Class History On September 2, of 1954, our now present Juniof- class entered B.C.H.S. as fearful Freshmen. Friday of the first week they were initiated by the Sophomores. That night a dance sponsored by the Sophomores was given for them. The freshmen on September 12 gave a dance for the Sophomores . A second dance was given on February 12. The Harvest Queen candidate was Ida Marken. The class officers were Jim Megquier, President; Harold Contway, Vice President; Bill Jones , Secretary; Marsha Peterson, Treasurer; Patty Sneed, Yell Header. Tom Pendergast and Tom Mitchell were selected as representatives on the Beaver Hodge. Beatrice Clemowwas on the Student Council. Karolyn Whitworth and Ida Marken were on the Red Cross Council. The class sponsors were Mrs. McCollum, Miss McGown and Mr. Bierrum. The Sophomore year they were the biggest class in the school with 76 members. They gave the Fresh- men a bad time during initiation but then had a Mixer for the initiates. The Harvest Queen candidate was ROW 1: Diana Fredlund, Irene Gregovich, Carla Jensen, Lorraine Bastian, Darlene Kruletz, Jackie Cowan, Gay Lee Martin, Marian McDonald, Shirly Braun. ROW 2: Minnie Kennison, Carol Martin, Beatrice Clemow, Carla Marion McDonald. The class officers were Eddy Zink, President; Bill Jones, Vice President; Harold Cont- way, Secretary; Tom Pendergast, Treasurer; Karolyn Whitworth, Yell Header. Howell Nelson and Beatrice Clemow were on the Student Council. Jim Megquier and Dale Zink were on the Beaver Hodge. Shirley Braun and Diana Squires were on the Red Cross Coun- cil. Miss Nelson and Miss Christy were class spon- sors . The Juniors had many money raising projects for which to raise money for their Prom. The class of- ficers were Bill Jones, President, Beatrice Clemow, Vice President; Marion McDonald, Secretary, Tom Mitchell, Treasurer; Jim Butala, Yell Header. Selected for the Beaver Hodge was Dale and Ed Zink. Beatrice Clemow, Wanda Pilgrim, and Jim Megquier were on the Student Council. Red Cross Council representa- tives were Diana Squires, Shirley Braun, Thomas Schiopen, and Jackie Cowan. Andrus, Linda Anderasen, Damie Jo Hart, Lyla Henrie, Karen Hyde. ROW 3: Hubert Alley, Jim Davis, Kenneth Hartwig, Barton Hildrith, Milford Craig, Jim Childs, Rod Bluechel, Lew Brundgage, Dan Dunkin, Harold Contway.
