Juniors Class History On September 2, 1952, seventy-nine freshmen entered Beaverhead County High School. They were duly initiated by the Sophomore Class at an as- sembly and honored at a mixer. They gave a return dance on September 12. Class Officers for the year were: President, Pete Miller; Secre- tary, Marlene Westad; Treasurer, Dalene Lessey; Yell Leader, Vonda Jones. Marilyn Smith and Craig Cornell represented the class on the Beaver Lodge Committee and Stephen Foster was elected to the Student Council. As Sophomores, they initiated the freshmen and sponsored a mixer for them. The class also gave three dances during the year. Class Officers were: Pete Miller, President; Lyle Eliason, Vice-president; Secretary- Treasurer , Roberta Wright, and Dalene Lessey, Yell Leader. Gail Gray and Bill Mitchell were elected to the Beaver Lodge Committee and Carol McMannis and Dorothy Anderson to Student Council. The Juniors worked to make money and put on the Junior Prom and a Junior-Senior Banquet. The Class Officers were: President, Pete Mil- ler; Vice-president, Vonda Jones; Secretary, Margie Holland; Treas- urer, Marlene Westad; and Yell Leader, Normie Wight. Gene Stone, Roberta Wright, and Gail Gray were elected for the Student Council. 28
