Our Principal University of New Mexico; South Dakota School of Mines; B. S.f Nebraska State Teachers College; Yale University; M. A., Colorado State College of Education. WILLIAM BRUER DEAR SENIORS: It is with a good deal of pleasure that I present to the Seniors of 1955, this, my first yearbook message in BCHS. It is difficult for a new prin- cipal togetto know all of his students in a short time. You have made it a relatively easy task by your fine personalities. As leaders of the stu- dent body, you have made my first year a pleasant one. Your pleasant attitude and scholastic tendencies have been an excellent example for the entire school. vVe feel that BCHS has done its part in preparing you for the world ahead. We hope we have given you the 3 R's” in their entirety, and, in addition, have taught you how to get along with society. Your parents and other taxpayers of this county have financed your education. You are now on your own to face the rigors of the world. We trust that you have the necessary educational equipment. I would per sonally like to wish each one of you the best of luckinyour ventures. Please feel that BCHS is still yours and rest assured that you are always welcome to come back and see us. Your high school will con- tinue to assit you in your chosen walks of life. Best regards, BILL BRUER Principal 6
