Friday of the first week they were initiated by the Sophomore Class at a school assembly. That night they were honored by a mixer, and they gave a return dance for the Sophomores on September 12. Projects for the year were three dances. Class officers were Pete Miller, president; Marlene Westdad, secretary; Dalene Lessey, treas- urer; Vonda Jones, yell leader. At the beginning of the second year they initiated the freshmen and then sponsored a mixer after the initiation. The class gave three dances during the year. There are seventy-three sophomores this year. Of- ficers are Pete Miller, president; Lyle Eliason, vice president; Craig Cornell, secretary, treasurer; Dalene Lessey.
