Foreign exchange students enjoy American Christmas festivities. Hildebrecht Braun, sponsored by the Church of the Brethren, came from Neuendettelsau, Germany. He lived with the Wilverts the first semester and the Beals the second semester. Hildebrecht especially enjo ed the American sports and was a mem- Y ber of the wrestling team. Both Fiona and Hildebrecht enjoyed the fast-moving pace of American life and participated in many school activities. They have made many lasting friendships and re- gret leaving Beavercreek and the United States. Each of them has contributed much toward the SPIRIT OF BEAVERCREEK. Fiona and Hildebrecht reminiscing over memories of home. 83 FOREIGN EXCHANGE STUDENTS For the first time this year, Beaver- creek has enjoyed the thrill of having two foreign exchange students attending our school. Miss Fiona Noble was sponsored by our Student Council through the Ameri- can Field Service. She came from Capetown, South Africa, and lived with the Earles during her stay. Fiona loved slumber parties, played on the GAA interscholastic volleyball, basketball, and tennis teams, and attended the JCOWA study tour to New York and Washington, D.
