Four hundred delegates from all over the state of Ohio attended the Ninth Annual Convention of the Ohio Association of Student Coun- cils on April 26th, 27th, and 28th. Delegates were housed with families in the school district. A mixer dance was held Thursday night in the cafeteria. The dele- gates had two general business meetings Friday followed by a banquet and a dance with jour- ney to a Small Planet as the theme. Cfficers were elected at the third general meeting on Saturday, and the O.A.S. C. flag was presented to the 1963 host school. The conference closed after a luncheon at l2:3Op.m. in the field house The success of the conference was attributed to the help and cooperation of the student body and the community. These students were candidates for state office. A dance, decorated as a Journey to a Small Planet was held in the cafeteria. This sign greeted the delegates as they entered our school. LeVeta Kissell bids her guest farewell. Bonnie Faul and Karen Rowland stuffed packets in preparation for the big day. 101
