8EAVE6 centbal I W CLASS HISTORY bivei SCHOCM Vi September, 1978 arrived and WE WERE OFF AND RUNNING! Our first season was completed under the COACHING of Mr. Shortt. Class President was Scott Haluska; Vice President, Pam Corey: Secretary, Sheri Monnat; and Treasurer, Rob Campany. Our sophomore year came and we were ready to TACKLE any problem. Class officers were President, Rhonda Foote; Vice President, Dari Zehr; Secretary, Lisa LaPlant; and Treasurer, Mary Widrick. Coach Shortt returned and warned us to stop WARMING THE BENCH. We realized that the next year we’d join the Varsity ranks and wanted to have our ACT TOGETHER. Fund raising events included a sub sale, dance, kit sale, and they all helped PIN our opponent — bankruptcy. Our junior year began and officers UP TO BAT were President, Lisa LaPlant: Vice President, Rob Campany; Co-Secretaries, Sheri Monnat and Brenda Zehr; and Treasurer, Mary Widrick. We were SET to make a big SPLASH. Coach Shortt reminded us that junior year was no FREE THROW and we began to plan for Senior year. To raise the SCORE of our treasury we had a dance, sold Tom Watt and . . . The Junior-Senior Prom wound up our season as UNBEATABLE Juniors and we got PSYCHED for our final year of high school. We gave a CHEER as our Senior year arrived and we vowed not to end up in the GUTTER. Mr. Hall joined Mr. Shortt in the COACHING RANKS and class officers were President, Lisa LaPlant; Vice President, Rob Campany; Secretary, Teresa Lyndaker; and Treasurer, Deb Brouty. Our GAME PLAN consisted of magazine sales and the Christmas Ball. High POINTS included Senior week and, of course, graduation! As we look back in our memories via INSTANT REPLAY, we are certain that we have reached our GOAL. Undoubtedly, the Class of 1981 has achieved a tremendous VICTORY. 7
