Lawrence E- Mal'0lf,PffSid2fIf- The local Board of Education insures that our school will remain in the hands of our people rather than under general government or under private corpo- rations. It is a group elected by local citizens that can air varying points of view in formulating school policy. It is responsible for school property, supervises the spending of money, and employs school teachers. The improvement of our' school system depends upon the quality of our School Board. And the quality of our School Board depends upon the support and interest of the citizens of our school district. 4

Dedication Pierre H. Wallack The graduating class of 1965 is proud to dedicate this yearbook to Mr. Pierre Wallack who has won the respect of both students and faculty members in only two years at Beaver River Central School. Our class feels that we have come to know Mr. Wallack not only as teacher, class advisor and coach but also as a friend. We are sure that his influence on us and future classes will be lasting. 3

Mrs. Gosselin. Mr. Lester, Mr. Kirch. Mr. Lessard, Mrs Chamberlain. With each succeeding year the educa- tional opportunities at Beaver River Cen- tral School are expanding. For the first time in its history, the school now has the services of a Supervisor of English, Mr. Barker Herr. A new Director of Physical Education, Mr. Bradford Bram- hall, was appointed during the spring of I964. The Music Department has in- creased its personnel to three with the addition of a vocal instructor, Mrs. Dan- iel Roggie, who teaches only in the Ele- mentary School. Mr. Richard Green is in charge of instruction in Driver Education and Mechanical Drawing while all the shop courses are taught by Mr. Harvey Taylor.
