Wg dsl? 41-L 5 u Bjubiti' 'ff' i W A major achievement of the Music Department was the reception of an A rating by the Senior Chorus at the State Music Festival at Potsdam. Participating in the festival as soloists were Karen Virkler, Sandra Schwendy, and Rebecca Phillips. Two new select vocal groups which have been formed this year are Tri-Trio and the Choraliers. The latter was a featured part of an exchange concert program at Lowville in January. Several members of the Senior Chorus were chosen to take part in the Lewneida League Festival at Old Forge and the North Central Zone Festival at Lowville. The chorus continues to work toward its goal of acquiring choir robes for use in future years. The 1964-65 band began its activities for the school year by playing at the home football games. In December the band and choruses combined in presenting a Christmas Concert which was well received by the public, all are looking forward to a successful spring concert. 24
