Out in some vast ocean, sad to relate, Floats the form of Bruce Segovis; there met his fate While attempting to harness the energy released By a spouting whale, our adventurer was deceased. Here lies the few remains of one Who was careless with a loaded gun. Wesley Simpson while exploring a rod Touched it off; now he's under sod. Perry Steria searching the forest land To rid it of termites on every hand Was taken by surprise, mistaken for a tree; The termites just loved him; he was never set free. While strolling through a forest fair, BUI Terry met a grizzly bear. The bear remembering him from the past Gave Bill a squeeze--it was his last. In this earth lies the battered remains Of Clark E. Thorp, the guy with the brains! In the science lab he was ever the clown He's done his last experiment, he's underground. Here lies our Thomas Tyner- He has traversed the pearly gate. He failed to release his bowling ball Which carried him to his fate. From this world of wonder, Carol Virkler disappeared. Her case is still considered to be strangely weird It might have been an accident, a fit, or just disease Whatever may have happened, she disappeared with ease. Here should lie Dave Yousey in peaceful slumber, But sad to state, he took his own number. All they found of him wouldn’t make hash He left this world in a time bomb's flash. Carolyn Zecher lies here in this soil Now released from life's wearisome toil She jumped or fell from a passing plane. And landed hard enough to remain. CLASS WILL Betty (Did someone say Copenhagen?) Brouty relinquishes her seat in Mr. Cresson's class to Sharon Yousey. Lila (Let's argue about something.) Moser leaves her ability to get along with everybody to Kay Yancey. Jennie (The brew that made Naumberg famous) Schulz leaves her extreme height to Mary Lou Martin. Phil Aubel is the unhappy receiver of Linda (She's leaving that gate with an Olds 88.) Keib's skill behind the wheel. Carolyn (My virtue is quietness) Zecher leaves her ability to listen-to a obstreperous underclassman, Wayne Kuhl. Linda Baumgartner is the enthusiatic recipient of Patti (Just call me Zeb ) Colombo's interest in the farmyard. Alice (Quit talking about me) La Chausse bequeaths her ability to criticize to Mary Gilbert and Margo Hofer who don't realize how fortunate they are. Marie (Excitement overwhelms me) Schneider endows Mary Boshart and Judy Schamback with the habit of chattering like a squirrel. Carlton Roes is the fortunate recipient of Carol (Teasing is fun) Virkler's ability to pester certain people. 19

A sad fate befell an experienced housekeeper- Elizabeth Jackson, by name, she was known. Attacked by an avenging atomic sweeper She vanished in dust--Where was she blown? In this cold place lies Linda Keib; Here she is and here she will abide. She fell through a window, but didn't bound When she hit the cement twenty stories down. A body lies beneath this fertile soil Since Bradley Kuhl left this world's turmoil. Working at his post-hole digging trade He buried himself like a gopher in a raid. Here would lie Miss Alice La Chausse But that the girl was losted Atop Mt. Everest without any clothes She became the missing link--frosted. Here lies Lou Ann Lasher in quiet rest. She had led a life of mirth and jest. To mislead people of her manners gay She left this life in a peaceful way. Gary Lomber lies here. He lost the race; Thrown from his horse, he fell on his face. Now he rides on a ghostly plain A headless horseman like Ichabod Crane. Beneath his text book lies Dick Mattis; His students strung him up on a lattice. If he had not chosen the wrong vocation, He would not be in this location. In this form lies Nancy Miller, by name, As a lady wrestler she won her fame. Only her name in the ring will live, For she hit a brick wall that didn't give. Here lies Lila Moser, a noble mother, Who met her fate in a frigid smother. Her loving children seeking to please Locked her up in her new deep freeze. Now this mother, sad to state, Is known as mummy to this date. Out in vast space floats a different sight, Marilyn Moshier disappeared one ghostly night. While mystically walking in her sleep a pace She tangled with hot water pipes and lost the race. Dorothy Noftsier-what a sad sight- Swallowed rat poison one dark night. In her haste to find a high blood pressure pill She made this mistake; now she's over the hill. Bob Ross should be beneath this stone But he quit living while driving alone. His new car with two-hundred horse power to spare Left the road. He couldn't be found anywhere. In a forest lies Jack Rubar's form He met his fate one winter mom Hunting the woods in search of game He was killed by rabbits--What a shame! Here doth lie Marie Jane Schneider May she always be a silent reminder In a moment of careless and heedless homemaking She cremated herself while entranced by her baking. In vast celestial space floats Jennie Schulz- There wasn't any need at all to feel her pulse. She was a gangland hostess with a treacherous rod; But she didn’t draw it fast enough; now she's under sod. 18

Yousey wills his skill at making trail to a fellow woodsman-none other than Junior (Bugger) Wakefield. Larry (Where did she go now?) Brouty leaves all of his spare time to Helen Bruckman. The desired love and admiration of Stan (Oh! Those Sophomore girls) Bush is willed without question to the feminine members of the class of 1962. Perry (You wanna get clipped?) Steria bequeaths his sturdy build to Butch Ford, who doesn't actually need it. Anne Yousey is the unfortunate lass to whom Rodney (Wha'd you say Jiggs ?) Campany grants his unrequested class ring. Leon (Hey, Coon !) Gavigan endows his prowess as a mischievous character (Oh, those fire alarms) to Milton Mouse Monnat. The qualities required for an actor are granted to James Nortz and Tom Peters from Bruce (My career is acting) Segovis. Wesley (I like a Junior) Simpson grants his mysterious adoration to a specific person in next year's senior class. Tom (My, girls are fascinating!) Tyner endows Jan Van Amam and all others interested with his ability to swim. Clint Doney will be fascinated by the overflowing abundance of Lynn (Let's go to Carthage) Hofer's blond hair, which he has been willed. Ernie Smith and Donald La Chausse are bequeathed Bob (Don't you know you shouldn't smoke?) Ross's clever- ness in avoiding being caught smoking in school. (Oh yeh??) Bradley (Ouch! Quit pinching, Briny) Kuhl gladly grants Wilbur Lyndaker and Arthur Zehr his coveted seat in Mr. Norton's office. Dale Moser is to become the glad receiver of Jack (I like to bust bunnies) Rubar's unique style of strolling through the halls of Beaver River Central School. Bill (You wanna box?) Terry deposits his unused razor (One year old) with Ralph Zehr. Man, what a beard! The teachers of Beaver River Central School are deprived of Clark (Well, who's got their Math done?)
