Class History SEPTEMBER 1951, Forty-four brash young individuals were drafted into the Army. We received our basic training at Fort Beaver River. We found as our Commanding Officer, Fred Anderson; Exec- utive Commander, Roger Hoch; Finance Officer and Company Clerk, Robert Bramhall. We sold Christmas cards, wrapping paper and ribbon to save money for our distant furlough. Our first year as Privates has seemed to go real fast. September 1952, We are now sporting our first stripe, that of Privates First Class. (PFC'S) We find now as our Commanding Officer, Don Roes; Executive Commander, Fred Schneider; Company Clerk, Ruth Ann Boshart and Finance Officer, Robert Bramhall. During this second year we sold Jell-O and held a few bake sales. We were going to hold a dance but at the last moment had our passes pulled. Another year gone. September 1953, During our third year in the Army we became Corporals. We found as our Commanding Officer, Ruth Ann Boshart; Executive Commander, Nancy Hirschey; Company Clerk, Mary Lou Yantzi and Finance Officer, Don Roes. During this year we sold stationery and held two dances with the first sergeants. We also put on a play called Almost Summer. Another year to go before our long awaited furlough. Our last year and we have finally made the rank of First Sergeants. We find as our Commanding Officer, Ruth Ann Boshart; Executive Commander, Lou Ann Lallier; Finance Officer, Don Roes and Company Clerk, Mary Lou Yantzi. This year we sold magazine subscriptions, had a bake sale, a Mr. Sunshine Show, a play called Stranger in the Night. Later on a variety show entitled Club 55. We have all decided to spend a week of our discharge together in New York City. CLASS WILL CONT. Barbara (You know what I mean) Ritz leaves her ability to get home after the dances to Pat (There's Joe) Schewendy. Robert (Beau Brummel) Widrick leaves his ability to get along with Women to Donald (Those dancing feet) Martin. Dave (I'm not shy anymore) Widrick leaves his ability to play the harmonica to Jack (I can dance now) Sweeney. Donald (My heart's in Naumburg) Roes leaves his shy and bashful ways to Bob (Hello doll) Nye. Betty (I feel a breeze) Windover leaves her knowledge of getting along with teachers to Janice (I'm so young) Bush. Mary Lou (I like Lowville) Yantzi leaves her ability to go steady to Janice (Bob's my man) Nortz. 16

Hast Willattit taut Pitt. WE, the class of '55, being of sound mind and memory and the most intelligent senior class to leave B.R.C.S. wish to publish this our last will and testament. Ruth Ann (Will you please be quiet) Boshart leaves her ability to conduct a class meeting to next year's class president. David (Einstein) Kellock leaves his mathematical ability to Jim (I haven't got my chemistry done) Gavigan. Joyce (Peppy and vivacious) Altmire leaves her ability at sports to Martha (Science Club) Boshart. Robert (My folks are gone) Bramhall leaves his tumbling ability to Keith (I ride my bike to Martinsburg) Maloney. Barbara (I've got blonde hair now) Cooney leaves a few strands of her blonde hair to Donna (I'm engaged) Herzig. Charlotte (Going to the dance) Ebersol and Doris (Don't get mad) Pate leaves their knowledge of getting a man to Pat (H2So4) Lough. Gerald (Short and Sweet) Edwards leaves three inches of his height to Bernard (those letters) Buckingham. Carol (Oh that red hair) Erbin and Fred (Motorboat) Schneider leave their old dirty used test tubes to Nan (Harry's coming) Farney. Donald (I got the Chevy) Farney leaves his women to Carl ( She lives in Watertown) Hoch. Margaret (Rabbit) Hall leaves her silly ways to Rodney (I'M all alone) Bush. Martha Jane (Got any gum) Hall leaves her gigle to Melissa (Sweet and silent) Norton. Nancy (He's coming down tonight) Hirschey leaves her ability to drive Fred's Plymouth to Mike (I like to roller skate) Nuffer. Robert (I'm a senior now) Illingworth leaves his ability to lose his license to Ed (Hotrod) Jones. Leo (I got the Ford) Keenan leaves his liking of Ford cars to Linda (that 47 Ford) Martin. Martin (Specs) Keenan leaves some of his height to Marietta (Let's dance) Lyndaker. Lou Ann (I like the Navy) Lallier leaves her ability to remember where she left things to Harry (Squaw) White. Donna (That big black Buick) Moser leaves her ability to teach Home Ec III class to Anita (Hillbilly) Lasher. Shirley (Where's Myron) Noakes leaves her art ability to Franklin (Strike an arc) Monnat. Ronald (I can have the car now) Pate leaves his ability to get to all the dances to Carol (Oh those Carthage guys) Hoch. 15 Continued on page 16

Prophecy We are looking at the class of '55, ten years from now. RUTH ANN BOSHART, who is now giving piano lessons to George Liberace, has just completed a concert tour of Europe. We see that DAVE KELLOCK has been given the position of Head Engineer of the new Hydro-Electric dam being built at Belfort. And recently he discovered uranium at Double Eddy near Belfort. JOYCE ALTMIRE was recently voted to represent the United States in the Olympics which are held in Europe. We are all behind you Joyce. We find ROBERT BRAMHALL living amidst the animals in the Adirondack as he is now a full fledged Forest Ranger. He also may be seen once a week on television with his own program called Tumbling with Butch and Bill. We hope you will look in. Tune in station WXYZ, Kirshville, New York on Saturday nights and you will hear the Nation's Top Female Hillbilly singer, CHARLOTTE EBERSOL. She has come along way from the girl who used to sing in cars. You may not recognize GERALD EDWARDS for he has finally achieved the height of 6 ft. 4. As he now operates his own Elevated Shoe Company in Beaver Falls. We hear he has a real prosperous business. CAROL ERBIN was elected as president of one of the leading colleges. This summer she and her husband plan to go to Alaska to mine gold. Good Luckl We have just received word that DONALD FARNEY has been promoted to the rank of Captain in the United States Navy. He has been assigned to the Battleship U.S.S. Beaver. We find that MARGARET HALL is running a rabbit farm near New Bremen while waiting for her husband's discharge from the Air Force. MARTHA JANE HALL now owns her own Beauty Salon on Fifth Ave., Beaver Fa I Is. She was voted Top Hair Stylist in a Beauty Counselors Meeting in New York. She has created a new hair style called the Swirly-Whirly. NANCY HIRSCHEY is now living in Japan with her husband Fred, who has reached a colonel in the United States Army. ROBERT ILLINGWORTH has opened a garage outside New Bremen and in his spare time runs a Hot Rod Club of which he is President. And recently LEO KEENAN was made manager of the new Ford Motor Company in Croghan. He may be seen driving any one of his seven Fords. MARTIN KEENAN has returned to take over the job of constructing a super highway between Naumburg and Croghan. 17
