YVe elected Elizabeth Demo as our leader and Tom White as her assistant. During the year we enjoyed a sleigh ride and a party, and our treasury showed an increase of a small sum of money which proved the progress we had already made as salesmen. just think, next year we would be sophomores! As we walked into B.R.C.S., we had a little more ease and assurance than during the previous year. This second year we found that our homeroom was to be Room 22, with Mrs. Schantz as our advisor for the first semester and Mr. Maloney-, the last semester. We elected Tom White as leader, Ralph Corey as assistant, Elizabeth Demo, secretary, and Barbara Hasseler as treasurer. We were introduced to many new subjects, each of us choosing those that would best fit into his plans for future years. Money-making projects included movies, bake sales, and the selling of cards and Christmas wrappings, all of which proved to be very successful. After our finals, we looked forward to our junior Year at B.R.C.S. . This year we were juniors. We discovered that our homeroom, with Mr. Maloney again as our advisor, was to be Room 14. Many of the old familiar faces had left us. One of the first things that we did was to elect our officers: Gary Schneeberger, Leader, Bob Terry, Assistant, Carolyn Martin, Secretary, and Janet Widrick, Treasurer. At Christmastime, we were going around the halls with out-stretched hands. Yes, our class rings had arrived, so now we were full-fledged juniors. We sponsored our play, Beauty and the Beefv, and our junior Prom, which was a huge success financially. We also held two dances, both of which raised the amount in our treasury. Once more we faced finals, but next year we would be known as the Seniors of '52 . After a long summer vacation, we were now as confident and ready to go as any of the classes before us. Again, one of our first acts was to elect our officers. We chose Gary Schneeberger as our leader, Barb Hasseler as his assistant, Diane I6 Lyndaker for our secretary, and Janet Widrick our treasurer. We were once more fortunate in having Mr. Maloney as our advisor. We chose our name cards and announcements at the beginning of the year and then proceeded to sponsor our play, The Groom Said No , dances, Poor Man's Carnival, and a variety show, We even found time to hold a magazine campaign, and our growing treasury continued to demonstrate the progress We had made in working together. Now We are going out into the worldg not as students, but as men and ' ' ' ' han e With them . Women, keeping in mind that As the times change, we c g 17 PRCPH ECY A few days ago, a couple of Senior girls happened to discover a button that, if pressed, would reveal the future to them. This button was located in the back of our homeroom. Of course, upon finding such a gadget, they immediately agreed to keep it a secret until they knew more about it, but one of the girls just couldnlt wait so she pressed the button and asked- What will the class of '52 be doing in '62? Here are a few of the things she heard about her classmates: A7777 Bramloall is a buyer for the Interplantarian Department Store. Ann now wears a special pair of shoes, which seem to make everyone else appear short. fem Camidge has just received the national honor award as the world's greatest artist since 1900. By the way, jean has just received an honorable discharge from the Waves. Richard Gray has been appointed chief engineer of the proposed St. Lawrence Sea Way which will undergo construction shortly. Barbara Hasseler is now designing clothes for the models of Fifth Avenue. She has managed to keep her sketches out of reach of classmates' hands until completed. Connie H0010 is happily married and living in Copenhagen. Connie has left her position in the office of the local cheese factory because of the addition to the family. A7171 Hotchkiss is living in California. Ann is working as a secretary for a new Hollywood star. She is planning to visit Beaver Falls this summer. zlflargaret Lallier has just received the highest honor ever awarded to women in sports. In the near future, Marg plans to compete in the Olympic games. Nearly everyone is betting on her two to one. Dorothy Lelommz has opened a beauty parlor on the outskirts of Croghan. Dorothy is doing an excellent business. She has just been commented by noted authorities for her own hair style creation. Diane Lyfzdaleer is still busy with her milk route. She and her husband own one of the largest milk factories in the United States. By the way, have you seen the new no-spill milk bottles they have invented? They are really great! El6!l7fZ0j' Roes still hasn't made up her mind although she has accepted a position in the P.X. at Camp Drum. Please keep this a secret as Eleanor's life would be in danger. Gary Scbvzeeberger has designed new leg pads to keep from getting his legs so bruised while playing basketball. It seems quite possible that Gary may also become a great tumbler. Reginald Smith has recently invented a new type of cigarette Cknown as L'Weed j. The smoke from this cigarette cannot be seen. It really solves a great problem, which Reg seems to be quite proud of. I8 Arlene Virleler just celebrated her 10th wedding anniversary. The family is living in their newly erected atom-type house just outside Naumburg. Rodney Virleler is operating his father's farm. I-le still gets great enjoyment from operating the Ford fa new 1962 modelj. Ronald Virkler won national honors in raising mink. Some of the greatest fur coats have been made from these mink. Ron has as a hobby cooking, which he learned a great deal about while in his Senior year at B.R.C.S. Tlaornas White, has spent the last 10 years in the Navy but has decided to start a new youth organization. This organization is nation wide and has a huge member- ship. Tom is to be congratulated. Inner Widricle is chemist in the local chemical factory. She has finished an experiment on a magnetic chemical to attract men. Elizabeth Zelor has been appointed private secretary to the President of the U. S. She hopes to visit the big city of Beaver Falls in a few months. Donna Waterrnan just completed a performance of her latest song hit, Zazz Time which has made Beaver Falls famous. Donna has just finished a tour of the U. S. visiting every state. Robert Terry has opened a large dog hospitalw in Beaver Falls. He has two other veterinarians working for him. In his spare time Bob goes hunting and he also raises dogs as a hobby. C fzrolyn Martin is now working as a model on Fifth Avenue. Carolyn models only the latest fashions. Carolyn has her own apartment near her work. She still spends most of her summers in Beaver Falls. Now upon learning this, the girls decided to tell the rest of their class. Now that little button has been pushed so many times that it will no longer work, but it certainly served its purpose at the time. l9 JUNIOR PROM Carolyn Martin, Sally Mathys, Margaret Lallier, Queen, Richard Gray, King, Thomas VVhite, Gary Schneeberger.
