FRANCIS HERMAN Is playing first base with the New York Yankees who are playing In the World 8erles this year. VIRGINIA HOPPEL has finally achieved her life ambition. She has Just won the Nobel Prize for Poetry with her latest sonnet. GEORGE KUHL Is making millions as President of Garbage Collecting Inc. located In Beaver Falls. Seotember '46---On the second lee- of our Journey Gordon Peters was promoted from engineer to co-ollot, Joining Don and Bernadlne, already well acaualnted with their positions......Mrs. Reams charted our course for this mission......This year we turned re- porter and sent school news to the Lowville Lender each week. We profited from this by also selling the paper. SeptemDer '47---With Mr. Dewey advising us on our third trip, we profit- ed financially and had a wonderful time presenting The Youngest as our Junior play and sponsoring two dances......By June we were prepared for our fourth and most thrilling mission. September '48---We set off again, this time, on the most Important of our first four missions.....With the advice of Mr. Beemer, we raised money by presenting a dance, a three-act play, entitled, This Being Young and the movie Drums Along the Mohawk ......We also added to our class funds by selling candy and Ice cream......
