October 27 marked the night of the most successful Hallowe'en party ev h ld er e by the sophomores The party took place at the Community Hall and lasted sev eral enJoyable hours Miss VanArnam and Mrs St v e ens were chaperone Every one danced and Joined in the games Afterwards refreshments were served This fall the class oanvassed the town and other communities selling boxes of attractive Christmas cards The profit was approximately seventy five dollars Christmas time rolled around and Study Hall fthe class homeroom! turned into a beehive of activity Then at last the ladder was ut p away and the scissors were returned to their rightful drawers Colorf 1 1 , a e a was the Night Before Christmas scene and a little tree lent a cozy atmosphere to the room On the day when school was dismissed for the holidays, everyone exchanged presents at a party At the beginning of the year we elected the following officers President, Sally Matnys, Vice President, Marcia LeFevre, Secretary, Stanley Mitchell, Treasurer D Lois Hall, Class Reporter, Lois Poster, Student Council Representative, Donna L'Huillier when October rolled around we had our usual Hallowe'en party with all the 'trim mings' At Christmas time our room was decorated to the best of our ability and we really went 'all out' to make it as gay as possible Arthur Duffer who graduated into the 9A at the beginning of the second semester, I is the newest member of our class 16 1 D I . u p ctures had been drawn on the blaokboards the back table bo st d 'T' '
