The Junior Class started off the year 45 46 with a bang by being assigned to the Commercial Room QOr was it a bang? Prof's office is right next door D Miss Fairchild became our homeroom teacher with Miss Leary to watch over us in Miss Fa1rch1ld's absence The following officers were elected at the beginning of the year Ralph Schneider President Erna Combs Vice President Richard Moore Secretary Earl Ebersol Treasurer After a few weeks we elected Pat Busch to the office of class re- porter and finally settled down to another routine of hard work To really initiate our Junior year, we sponsored our first dance on November 16 The hall was decorated in Halloween style, and if you don't think decorating is fun, just ask some Juniors All was quiet for awhile after this, with only a few class meet ings to break the monotony. Then one Friday Mr. Perry stepped into our room to tell us our class rings had finally arrived. Oh! what Joy! But just think we had to wait over the whole week end before we got them! low, however, we are all proudly sporting them with the greatest of pride. Shortly after this, Christmas time rolled around and we again be- gan our decorating craze. By the way, this time it brought us profits, because our room won first prize for the best decorations. Our play was presented in larch, 'The Saturday Evening Ghost'g and our Junior dance in Hay climaxed a happy and successful year for the class of 1947. if , : X 16
