Is it true or just imagination t;iet vc are preparing for commencement; and, then at its close, will go out i the world as others have before us? Remember September 1940 when thirty-seven wide-eyed Fresman entered Reaver Falls High School to give our little, but, important ideas to the higher-up fellow men. 3ut e were of t e low r ranks and segregated at. thatl The girls were 5n Room 21; the bcryB-were in the Ag room. We met together in Room 21 for our first class meeting and elect- ed the following officers» President—Betty Hathys, Vice President Yvon e L’Huillier, Secretary—Jack Terrs Treasurer—Bernice Aubel Student Council Representatives—Esther Virkler end James Courts, Advisor—'des Travis. During the course of our first year we all enjoved a movie, a sleigh ride, and two class parties. We closed the doors on our Freshman hone rooms, hop-ng, when we returned, the.t v:e would be more noticeable. The September of 1942 we were thirty-three “sophisticated soph- onores111 We liad the sane none rooms as of the year before. This year, not being “greenhorns , we happily gathered together to elect the following class officers; President—ITorma Farney, Vice President Yvonne L’Huillier, Secretary—Janice Osborne, Treasurer—Jean Mattimore, Student Council Representatives—Joan ITuffer and James Courts, Advisor— Mr. Fauler. The following fellowtaei; did not return with us this year— David Tooker, Mary Lehman, Ralph yoser, and Loma Pressaw During this year we spent our tine by having a sleigh-ride, cone class parties, tv o trips to the movies, plus a bit of studying We closed our doors again in June knowing we had something to loo ; forward to the following year We also “demanded a different home room. At the beginning of September 1942 in rushed the twenty-three Juniors looking for the new home room which was demanded but not granted So, with saddened hearts we again settled down in Room 31; but, “lo and behold the boys were allowed to share it with us. At our first class meeting (minus the following people; Heanor Lyndaker, Velma Zehr, Filer Widrick, Lila Moftsier, Belva Osborne, Marie Sauer, Francis Kelly, Perry Famey, Francis Ritz, Lansing Roggie, we elected the following class officers; President—Jack Terry; Vice President— Yvonne L’Huillier, Secretary—Bemic Aubel, Treasurer—James Fredenburg, Student Council Representatives—Kary Dolores Hoch and James Courts, Advisor—Miss Manning. iiiimiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!iii:ii;iii!i!iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiuiiii
